The Serps swimmers had to swim 110 yards in very cold water. The jump from 55 yards to 110 was a large one, and most swimmers felt the cold bite when they passed the halfway mark.
James Scott brought friend Chris to swim, and he did a great job.
Pippa Durrant decided to get a head start on the rest of the field in her race (see photo below), but showed guts and determination at the end by beating Will to grab fourth place.
Yoko won the first race, and Nick Adams the second.
