The 1995 design - Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and the Serpentine
Green Park and St James's Park
1995 saw a radical proposal for an 18 hole tournament golf course across the four London Royal Parks: Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James's Park.
The Lido refurbishment of the following year meant the proposal was shelved. There are now rumours that the plans and design have been dusted down and are under serious consideration by The Royal Parks sports and leisure committee. Could the "Royal London" still come to fruition?
