Wardening

At the end of this month, Wardening will stop. The end of September is when we traditionally stop providing Wardens. I am sure you will join with me in thanking all our volunteer Wardens as their presence has enabled the Club to continue swimming during the Summer.

Winter changing

The Royal Parks (TRP) have agreed in principle and subject to an approved risk assessment that the Club can rent the whole Lido changing complex over Winter. This would provide members with indoor and outdoor changing, toilets and lockers. The Club will now look at how and if we could utilise this space to provide a Covid safe environment in line with Swim England guidance and produce a risk assessment  on its operation that satisfies both the Committee and TRP.

Your Committee will continue to monitor  compliance with social distancing and Government guidance and where necessary take measures in accordance with any new guidance or directions from Government or TRP.
