Especially for the Scarbrough Fair

Have you heard of the Aussies? Huh?

The Aussies? Eh?

The Aussies?

Oi, Oi, Oi.

Two Serpentine SC members are taking part in Australia's premier surf lifesaving competition this week About 6,000 competitors are competing at Perth's Western Australian Scarborough Beach in the 2018 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, known as “The Aussies”.

Fair zinc em, mate, I'm not making it up.

The Aussies is an annual event which sees members from Australia’s 311 Surf Clubs, compete in more than 400 beach and ocean events. All ages compete, that is if you throw in the young shrimps and all the way to the over 70s. And the organisers can Factor 30 into each race.

Good luck to Kristy McIntyre and Mark Fabik, who have qualified to represent Bondi Surf Lifesavers at the Championships, between the salt water and the sea strands.

Are you going, 'cos I can't work out where they find the thyme?

Yours swimmingly
